Robbie Schroeder
has earned over 30 World and Reserve Champion titles during his career, consequently it is no wonder that Robbie Schroeder is known throughout the industry as the best trainer for all disciplines of Quarter Horses. From calf horses and team roping horses for show or rodeo, to reining and working cow horses, to western pleasure show horses and western riding show horses, this man has conquered every event that has come his way. Schroeder has trained and shown numerous top Quarter Horses that have helped him earn titles such as the AQHA Professional Horseman of the Year Honoree, the NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity Limited Open Champion, World's Greatest Horseman Reserve Champion and the NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity Limited Open Reserve Champion. His list of accomplishments parallel his amazing skills with a long list of numerous AQHA, APHA and APHC World and Reserve World championships.

It was said that when Schroeder was a kid he would ride anything with fur on it. During his years of experience with cattle and horses, Schroeder learned all he needed to know about these animals to begin his thriving career. His organized lessons and training techniques have paid off successfully for Schroeder over the years. His wife, Joan, came from a similar background and started riding horses when she was young. Now, along with their son, Ryan, they have become icons in the industry and legends in their own time.

Robbie Schroeder 2008 World’s Greatest Horseman Reserve Champion

The World’s Greatest Horseman title is an elite competition that celebrates the early California traditions of highly-trained working cow horses. Riders compete in four different ranch work competitions: reining, steer stopping, roping and cow work. The World’s Greatest Horseman title is bestowed upon the horse-and-rider combination that has the highest score at the end of the four events.
After the first two events, it seemed clear that it would come down to two riders: Russell Dilday and Robbie Schroeder.
